Maddie is a legal administrative assistant and staffs our front desk.  Maddie is generally the first smile you will see at Redstone as she interacts with our clients, assists colleagues and keeps busy with a diverse range of tasks to keep our office running smoothly.

Maddie’s Professional Background

Maddie graduated from Dordt University in May 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in history. During her undergraduate career, Maddie spent time working in a variety of positions – including work as a history TA, a summer temp at Citibank, and as a tour guide at the Pettigrew Museum in Sioux Falls.  Post graduation, Maddie spent several months volunteering in South America with Worldpackers.

Maddie’s favorites

Most interesting place she’s visited in South Dakota:  After living in South Dakota for almost 20 years, Maddie has traveled frequently throughout the state.  Her favorite place to return to is the beautiful landscapes of the Black Hills, especially Custer State Park.

Little known fact about Maddie:  Following graduation from Dordt University, Maddie spent several months volunteering in South America with Worldpackers.  She would like to do this again someday.

Responsibilities at Redstone:  Maddie enjoys interacting with clients, assisting colleagues, and keeping busy with a diverse range of tasks!

Favorites:

  • Movie:  Pride & Prejudice (2005) and the Lord of the Rings trilogy
  • Authors:  Jane Austen, Fredrik Backman, RF Kuang, Brandon Sanderson, and VE Schwab
  • Travel Destinations:  Italy, Costa Rica, the Netherlands, and New Zealand (to name a few)

While not at the office working with the Redstone team, Maddie enjoys:

Spending time with family, enjoying nature, and reading books from every genre.  She recently joined a community band to keep up with her trumpet-playing skills and started taking figure skating lessons again.  Maddie is also an avid traveler – in the past she has studied abroad in Europe and backpacked through South America. Although she has settled down, Maddie is always up for a quick weekend trip to visit friends or explore somewhere new!
