Rebecca's professional background

Rebecca has three Associates of Applied Science degrees from USD/Springfield (1983) in legal, medical, and executive secretarial.

Rebecca began her legal career in Yankton, South Dakota, working for a sole practitioner law firm for 4 1/2 years before moving to Sioux Falls in 1987. She worked for 5 1/2 years at a large law firm in Sioux Falls, and then the next 30 years at another large law firm in Sioux Falls. Rebecca began working at Redstone Law Firm on December 1, 2023.

Rebecca's favorites

Most interesting place she’s visited in South Dakota: Badlands National Park. It’s an ideal location for night stargazing in July, as there is no light pollution, and it’s easy to view the planets and stars while camping.

Little known fact about Rebecca: ebecca has walked on the Athabasca Glacier in the Columbia Icefields of Alberta, Canada. She has also taken in the views and walked on the Columbia Icefield Skywalk, which is a glass suspended platform 918 feet above the cliffs of the Sunwapta Valley in Jasper, Canada.

  • Favorite places she’s traveled: Mackinaw Island, Canada, the Oregon coast, Lake Michigan, Glacier National Park, and Yellowstone

While not at the office working with the Redstone team, Rebecca enjoys: Spending time with her husband and family, especially camping, biking, and traveling to new destinations.
