As part of our commitment to our core value of “make it better," the Redstone Team volunteered for the Feeding South Dakota BackPack Program and helped fill about 1,800 bags in late April 2016.

The Sioux Falls BackPack Program distributes more than 3,700 packages of food each week to children in the Sioux Falls School District and 11 surrounding school districts. The program provides nutritious, easy-to-prepare foods for at-risk children during weekends and holidays when school is not in session. The Redstone volunteer group included Redstone Team members and family members as young as 11. 

"I was thrilled with 100% participation from the Redstone Team, and we all enjoyed working together as a team and helping to make it better for those in need in our community," said Diane Kerr, a Redstone Team member who led and organized the event.
